CONSULTATION & TASTING
I would be delighted to meet with you and discuss your vision. Meeting at the bakery is a great way to get acquainted, bounce ideas around, and get a feeling for mood of the big day. During the consultation you will taste a variety of flavors, we discus design, pricing, and details of the celebration.
Bring whatever inspires you, be it your invitation, color swatches, or photos. Send me your Pinterest page. I’ve been sparked by an antique button or the wallpaper at my favorite Portland hotel. Anything can help prime the design process.
$25 tasting fee due at the time of meeting. This is deducted from total cost of your cake should you decide to order.
Of course we can also communicate via email if you are unable to visit the bakery.
The cost of a cake can vary greatly depending on flavor and the intricacy of design. A simple buttercream-frosted cake will start at $5.00 per person whereas an extravagant and highly embellished fondant covered cake may cost upwards to $10-$13 per person. Sheet cakes in addition to the display cake are an option for large events and help curb costs.
A 50% deposit is due when the order is placed. Delivery fees will vary.

Buttercake layered with mascarpone and marsala saybayon studded with berries
WSBC Chocolate Cake
This cake is made with bittersweet chocolate, cocoa, and a touch of sour cream to create a rich cake layered with bittersweet chocolate mousse (Keep it classic or add raspberry preserve or salted caramel)
Toasted Almond Cake
Rich almond cake with a hint of warm spices layered with chocolate-orange mousse.
Lemon Blossom Layer Cake
Poppyseed and orange-blossom buttercake cake layered with your choice of tangy lemon mousse or strawberry mousse.
Light coconut cake paired with toasted coconut mousseline.
Spiced Parsnip Cake
Baked with warm spices, toasted walnuts, coconut, and roasted sweet parsnip then layered with caramel cream cheese frosting. (A twist on traditional carrot cake)
